Refreshing Summertime Dessert - Pineapple Peach Sorbet
1 15-ounce can pineapple chunks in its own juice
1 15-ounce can sliced peaches in own juice (or light syrup)
1 cup sugar (more or less to taste)
Juice of half lemon
Puree ingredients in a food processor until smooth. Pour into an electric ice cream maker and follow manufacturers instructions. Place sorbet in the freezer until firm. (If you don't have an ice cream maker, you can freeze in a metal bowl, whisking every couple of hours until firm.
Experiment with other fresh, frozen, and canned fruit.
